When we moved in, the blinds were broken, house filthy. The carpets were stained, and were replaced at our expense with vinyl hardwood which the landlord agreed to compensate for. We repainted the walls and rehabbed the home. Upon move out, the house was professionally cleaned, paint touched up, and delivered in move-in condition, ready for a new tenant immediately. There was a stack of new moving boxes in the garage, and the cleaning service failed to throw away the condiments in the fridge when it was cleaned. He is denying return of security deposit based on these two minor issues.
